Item schema - Invopop

org/item describes a single product or service. Items appear inside invoice, order and delivery lines, and can also be stored as documents in their own right to keep a consistent catalogue across documents. Minimal use is a name and a price. Fuller use adds descriptions, supplier references, SKUs and units.

Properties

Property	Notes
`name`, `description`	What is being sold. `name` is required.
`ref`	Your general-purpose reference, SKU or article code. Easier to use than `identities`.
`key`	An optional classification key, used by some regimes.
`identities`	Further coded identifiers, each with a type agreed between supplier and customer.
`price`, `currency`	Unit price and its currency.
`alt_prices`	Equivalent prices in other currencies.
`unit`	Unit of measure.
`origin`	Country of origin, required by some customs and reporting formats.
`images`	Images of the product.
`attributes`	Additional descriptive key-value pairs.
`ext`, `meta`	Regime-specific extension keys and internal data.
