org/party represents a person or business entity involved in a business transaction. Parties appear embedded in billing documents as the supplier and customer, and can also be stored as documents in their own right.
Storing a party separately lets you register it with a tax authority or network, and lets Invopop link every document that references it.

Registration
Party documents drive supplier and customer registration across most regimes and networks, including VERI*FACTU, TicketBAI, KSeF, SDI and Peppol. A registration workflow sends the party to the authority or network and records the outcome on the entry. Each regime’s supplier guide covers what its registration requires.A party must be signed before documents that reference it will appear on its Related tab, and the lookup only runs in that direction.
